The language of law is specific in many ways. One of its characteristics is the frequent use of Latin terms. Without the proper knowledge of Latin legal terminology one can not understand the law, at least not in the way it was intended by its creator. Therefore, it is rather useful to have a Glossary of Latin Legal Terminology at hand.
